I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled

An Ordinance to further amend the Liquors

Ordinance, 1909

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to

the Governor's Instructions

This Ordinance gives effect to instructions of the

Secretary of State for the Colonies who is not prepared to sancti

privilege granted to the Governor by Section 56 of the Principa

Ordinance, inserted at the instance of the Unofficial Members becaui.

the privilege has recently been abolished as öpportunitÿ offered in

those Colonies in which it previously existed.
